On January 24th, despite a messy winter storm, the 8th AAC Art - Ecology - Observation American Tour Opening went on as scheduled and witnessed a tremendous turnout regardless of the weather. With 60 plus individuals braving the snow to join the opening event at Marquee Gallery in New London, the AAC Artron show, in association with the International Contemporary Artist Space (ICAS), was a a tremendous success. The night was filled with amazing art by 7 talented artists, wonderful live music and refreshments, and speeches from a number of honorary guests including the Mayor of New London Daryl Finizio.

The show received rave reviews from all in attendance, including art critic Salvatore Scalora, for the beautiful impact of the artwork on display as well as the message of unity and cultural exchange between China and America through
artwork. The artists who's work was represented were Chairman of the Chinese Art Association Mr. Liu Dawei, prestigious Chinese contemporary artists Mr. Shi Hu, Mr. Wang Huangsheng, Mr. Cai Guangbin, Mr. Zhu Wei, Mr. Zhu Jian, and Mr. Zhao Junzhong. Their artwork was a stunning collection of the variety of techniques and vision present in today's contemporary Chinese art culture. Ink work and oil paintings, classic to contemporary, figurative to abstract. There was artwork to meet the tastes of anyone who attended.

Though brief, this show packed a great deal of emotion, culture, and impact in the amount of time it is up. Running until January 30th 2015, be sure to keep an eye on future installments from the Artron group as they make their way to other major cities and countries to share the wealth of art and culture from today's contemporary climate.
